Description

What you are buying

A download. No app, no login, no monthly bill.

You take a few photos on the job, paste the prompt for your trade into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, and get back a complete quote: what you saw on site, what you could not see, the work step by step, the line items with description and unit, the materials, the exclusions, the schedule, the warranty and the acceptance block.

Everywhere a dollar figure belongs, it says [PRICE]. You fill that in. There is not one rate, unit price or benchmark number anywhere in this package, and that is deliberate. Nobody outside your business knows your costs, and a wrong benchmark costs you money on every job that uses it. Why we built it that way, with the research.

What $19 buys you here, and what it buys you elsewhere

Checked on August 12, 2026, so you can check it yourself.

On Etsy, contractor estimating spreadsheets run from $1.79 to $75.65. The two best-reviewed listings in that search were a bid template at $39.00 with 141 reviews and an estimate spreadsheet at $47.99 with 92 reviews. Each of those is one spreadsheet (etsy.com/market/construction_estimating_template).

On Gumroad, Estimate Pro sells eleven AI prompts in a single PDF for $30.00 (trademindai.gumroad.com/l/estimatepro).

For $19 you get five working files, twelve complete trade editions, a generator for any trade not on the list, and four finished example quotes. The comparison is not that Quofo is cheaper. It is that the thing being sold is different: not a form to fill in, but the judgment about what goes in the form.

The five core files

  • Photo to Quote prompt (.txt) — job photos in, a full quote in plain English out, with [PRICE] everywhere a number belongs.
  • Voice to Quote prompt (.txt) — the same quote from a two-minute voice note, talked into your phone. No laptop, no typing on a tailgate.
  • Quote template (.docx) — header, customer details, line items, tax line, exclusions, payment terms and an acceptance block. Paste the text in, add your prices, send.
  • Follow-up swipe file (.docx) — twelve messages for day 3, day 7 and day 14, each in a text-message version and an email version.
  • Margin calculator (.xlsx) — working formulas. Your hourly rate and your material costs in, floor price and margin out.

Plus START-HERE.pdf: what you have, what to do first, the mistakes people make most, and the questions people ask most. Fifteen minutes, once.

Included free with every package: twelve trade editions, the generator and four example quotes

This is the part most buyers underestimate, so here is exactly what it is.

Twelve trade editions. Roofing, painting and decorating, landscaping, plumbing and heating (residential service work: water, drains, appliances, radiators, radiant floor and leak tracing), plumbing and HVAC (full mechanical: piping, heating, cooling, ventilation and electrical hook-up), commercial cleaning, plastering and drywall, masonry and repointing, electrician, moving company, photographer, and carpentry and interior fit-out. Five files per trade:

  • the photo prompt in the language and the units of that trade;
  • the exclusions list: nine exclusions that go in every time, five where the trouble usually starts, and three conversations you have before you send — seventeen points, each with the reason it goes wrong if you leave it out;
  • the quote template carrying that trade’s line item descriptions;
  • six follow-up messages for day 3, 7, 10 and 14, in text and email versions (the automation sends day 3, 7 and 14; day 10 you send by hand);
  • a two-page trade card: ten lines that always belong in a quote in that trade, and five exclusions you never forget, each with one line explaining why.

The trade edition generator. If your trade is not on the list, you build it. Eight questions about your work, your units and the three jobs you do most, and the whole set is rewritten for you in two to five minutes. A worksheet is included so you keep your answers and reuse them later.

Four finished example quotes. A flat roof cleaned, repaired and coated. Exterior painting on a front elevation. Patio paving replaced and a planting bed put in. Electrical extended in a kitchen. Two pages each, plus one thirteen-page document showing, per job, the photos that were taken, the sentence the contractor typed, and the three follow-up messages that went out afterward. You see the finished output before you write anything yourself.

Why this is not just another estimate template

Blank estimate templates are free. Several software vendors give away dozens of them with no signup, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. If a tidy document is all you want, do not pay for this.

What none of them hand you is the judgment. Which ten lines always belong in a quote in your trade, in which unit, and which seventeen points you exclude before the customer raises them. That is what is in here, written out trade by trade, with the reason attached to each point. Software gives you fields. Template libraries give you formatting. This gives you the content.

What it does not do

It does not price your job and it never will. You review every quote before it goes out. The margin calculator runs on the numbers you type in, not on numbers we invented. There is no accounting integration, no scheduling, no app, and nothing is sent automatically.

The First-Hour Module is not in the Starter Kit. That comes with Complete and Pro.

When to buy something else instead

If what you need is scheduling, dispatch, invoicing, card payments, a crew app and a button the customer taps to sign, buy field service software. That is a different product on a monthly bill, and for the businesses that need it, it earns the money back. Some of it even has a free tier at low job volume.

Quofo is for the operator who does not want another system, does not want a monthly bill, and does not want customer and pricing data sitting on someone else’s server.

Delivery

Quofo just launched

Which is why there are no testimonials, no star ratings and no results on this page. We do not have them yet and we are not going to invent them. Everything above is in the files you download, and you can count it.
