What I can see in the photos

Scope of work

I set the site up first, clean the whole roof field, take off moss, deposit and loose material and let the roof dry. Then the repair: the blistered lap cut open, pressed back and dressed, the loose edge trim refixed, the open sealant joint renewed and a new boot detail at the penetration. After that I prime the whole field.

The top coat goes on in two passes, with reinforcement fleece at the laps, along the edge trim and around the penetrations and the skylight. The work needs a dry roof and a workable surface temperature. [CHECK: application data for the chosen system] At handover we walk the roof together and you get photos of every repaired point.

What I can see in the photos

Scope of work

I mask off everything that does not get coated: glazing, hardware, the sidewalk and the planting. The tower scaffold stands on the sidewalk, inside the barrier. Then I wash down and degrease the substrate, take coating that is not sound back to bare, sand up the rest and fill the damage. Rot repair to the sill is quoted by the hour and carried out only on your written approval.

Every bare and repaired area gets a primer. The finish goes on in two coats, on the moving parts and the fixed work, with a light sand between coats. The work is done dry and above the minimum surface temperature of the system. [CHECK: application data for the chosen coating system]

What I can see in the photos

Scope of work

I clear the working area first and protect the route from the side gate. Everything moves by barrow. Then the groundwork: the existing paving and sub-base come up, I excavate to the depth needed and take the spoil and rubble out. New sub-base comes in, gets compacted in layers and is set out to the levels and the falls, away from the house wall.

The bedding layer goes down and the pavers are laid to the set falls, with edging and paver restraint along the border and the lawn. Then the fence line: two posts replaced, panels refitted. Finally soil improvement, topsoil and planting in the border and turf to the lawn. The work is weather dependent and saturated ground stops it.

Scope of work

I isolate the supply first and shut the circuits down, then secure the work area. Floors get covered and dust is kept down while chasing. Power is off for roughly one working day. [CHECK: agree with the occupier] Then I chase or route the runs in the masonry at the front, set the back boxes and run conduit, cable and raceway to every new point. In the stud wall the cable goes in before the board goes on.

The points get mounted, the three new circuits are terminated at the panel with their protection and the range and the dishwasher go on dedicated circuits. Requirements on the installation follow [CHECK: code in force and the utility's rules]. I close the chases ready for the finish trade, test and inspect, and hand over with a panel schedule filled in.
